Job Description

Develop and implement lesson plans that meet school and curriculum standards.
Facilitate engaging and interactive English language arts instruction for senior-level students.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance learning.
Prepare students for standardized tests and assessments.
Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning.
Encourage critical thinking and open discussions to develop students’ analytical skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive academic environment.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and other stakeholders about student progress and any issues that may arise.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and standards.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
3-5 years of teaching experience in a senior high school setting.
Valid teaching certification or license.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create an engaging and dynamic classroom environment.
Proficiency in integrating technology into the teaching process.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students.
