Job Description

We are hiring: EAL Teacher

We are looking for a passionate and experienced EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teacher to join our team at the beginning of this academic year, starting in late August 2025.

Job Summary:
The EAL Teacher will lead the integration of effective EAL strategies across classrooms, support students requiring personalized interventions, and ensure strong progress in language development, particularly among Emirati students. The role also involves training staff and working closely with parents.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree in English
– B.Ed / PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
– CELTA / TEFL certification

Experience:
– Minimum two years of experience teaching students with English as an additional language
– Proven ability to raise attainment through intervention
– Experience delivering professional development and engaging with parents
– Skilled in writing IEPs and student targets
– Cultural awareness and strategies for student integration
– Effective collaboration with staff across the school
– Familiarity with the Bell Foundation framework is desirable (or willingness to train)
– Strong IT and interpersonal communication skills
